Adidas unveiled their first football boot pack designed to help reduce plastic waste.

The Parley boot pack – the first ever to be made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic features plastic waste intercepted on remote islands, beaches, coastal communities and shorelines. The plastic is given new life through adidas key boot franchises – Predator Accuracy, X Speedportal and Copa Pure.

Featuring Mapi Leon and Pedri as the faces of the new Parley boot pack, the Barcelona duo took to the beach to promote the adidas football launch.

Clear from the campaign imagery, the stunning Lucid Blue and White colourway comes inspired by the ocean, with elegant wave-patterned designs spanning the design to match.

The Parley boot pack is the latest chapter in adidas’ journey of tackling plastic waste. A journey which started in 2015, when they first partnered with Parley for the Oceans. They saw the opportunity to turn a problem into performance by integrating Parley Ocean Plastic across several football apparel jerseys.
