Football Kenya Federation Premier League giants AFC Leopards have taken a significant step toward improving matchday safety and enhancing fan experience after organising a comprehensive training programme for their stewards focused on safety, security, and customer service.

Stewards’ training

The training session conducted on Thursday, April 2, 2026, forms part of the club’s broader strategy to empower stewards and strengthen their interaction with supporters, who are considered the club’s key clients and stakeholders within the stadium environment.

By prioritising steward development, the club aims to ensure smoother matchday operations and create a safer, more welcoming atmosphere for fans.

”AFC Leopards has organised a stewards training on safety, security and service as part of the club’s objective to empower its stewards and improve their relationship with fans as the major clients and stakeholders in the stadium,” the club said in a statement.

The CEO also explained that the training initiative was structured to ensure fair representation across the club’s branches, with each branch given the opportunity to nominate two fully registered club members to take part in the program.
