In a deeply emotional social media post, comedian Mannerson Oduor, known as Akuku Danger, announced the passing of his father. Sharing the heartbreaking news on Instagram, the former Churchill Show star revealed that his father had succumbed to a prolonged battle with cancer, leaving the family grappling with yet another loss.

“Don’t even know what to say. Go well, Dad. Our family is never gonna be the same again. I wish you a safe passage even as you transition to the next phase. Shine on. You put up a fight,” Akuku Danger expressed in his poignant message.

Amid his sorrow, Akuku Danger’s friend and fellow actor Sandra Dacha extended her condolences in a heartfelt post. “CANCER, you are a monster. I cannot even begin to understand what you’re going through right now. I am deeply saddened by the news,” she wrote. Dacha recalled how his father always boasted about his beautiful family, describing him as “a kind man and a true gentleman.” She added, “May my condolences bring you comfort, and my prayers ease the pain of this loss.”

The death of his father follows a challenging period for Akuku Danger, who is still mourning the untimely death of his younger sister, Brianna Saviour, who passed away just a year ago due to sickle cell disease. Brianna, a Form One student at Kadika Girls High School, succumbed to her illness on July 30, 2023. At that time, Akuku Danger shared his grief on social media, stating, “Woke up to the saddest news. My small sis went to be with the Lord last night. Like me, she was born with sickle cell disease, and she succumbed to it. Rest well, warrior, Nind gi kwe Merwa.”
