Kenyan singer and entrepreneur Akothee has sparked speculation about the potential for a second wedding following rumors of a breakup with her Swiss beau, Denis Schweizer, commonly referred to as “Omosh.”
Akothee’s close friend and comedian, Dr Ofweneke, who notably emceed her glamorous wedding, recently addressed the ongoing rumors surrounding the state of her marriage.
In a light-hearted and humorous Instagram post, Dr Ofweneke expressed his unwavering support for the singer, regardless of her relationship status.
The comedian’s post featured a playful tone, emphasizing that the number of weddings Akothee held was of no concern to him.
He humorously remarked that he would always be there to represent and celebrate her, irrespective of the circumstances.
In his Instagram message, Dr Ofweneke quipped, “Babe @akotheekenya, even if you have a wedding every other day, I will always be here!!! Bring another white man along! But, I must laugh. This one too must pass, and you will be okay!”
In response to Dr Ofweneke’s witty comment, Akothee responded with laughter and a hint of anticipation, suggesting that an eighth wedding might be on the horizon.
She playfully remarked, “The 8th loading. Ochise the 8th.”
The exchange between Akothee and Dr. Ofweneke has generated buzz and speculation among fans, leaving many curious about the singer’s future relationship plans.
On Sunday, 1 October, Akothee shared that she had gone through a traumatic experience, which left her shaken and emotionally unstable.
She mentioned that she experienced days without food and sleep and questioned herself while maintaining her public image, family, and business.
“I started by monitoring my behaviors, I realised I was breaking down quite often for no reason, even just a simple interview. I had become emotionally unstable, and I couldn’t put a finger on it. I never knew about emotional abuse until I started therapy,” Akothee revealed.
Akothee thanked her close friends, family, especially her children, and her best friend, Nellyoaks, for being pillars of strength during this time.
She highlighted the importance of monitoring her own behavior and recognizing emotional instability. Akothee also mentioned that she had sought therapy to address her emotional state.
“I have come out of a very dangerous zone and have been healing in private. I am in my second month of therapy. The trauma I went through after finding out the truth and some ugly stuff that left me shaking,” she said.
