A portion of the dormitory at Isiolo Girls High School was engulfed in flames on Saturday evening. A video obtained by the *Star* captured the scene of panicked students as efforts to control the fire were underway. The students were assembled in a designated area of the school while the firefighting operation continued.
The Kenya Red Cross reported that they had activated their response team. Police spokesperson Resila Onyango confirmed the incident to the *Star* and stated that the fire had been contained.
