Mugiithi artiste DJ Fatxo on May 20, 2023, faced disappointment after he was reportedly denied entry into his Nairobi home.
A video shared on YouTube by SPM Buzz captured the singer’s unsuccessful attempt to access his residence.
It showed several vehicles pulled up at his home with about half a dozen people, believed to be the authorities blocking the main entrance to his house.
Following the incident, DJ Fatxo expressed his frustration with the treatment he had received.
In an interview with journalists, the artiste conveyed his annoyance at the ongoing conflicts surrounding his life.
Asserting his faith in God, DJ Fatxo emphasized the importance of abiding by the law and called for guidance in such situations.
“I’m tired of all this conflict. I’m a God-fearing person. We have a law, and I think when it gets to this point, somebody should be guided. I don’t want all this drama. I feel my life is threatened, and still, somebody is keeping me out of my house from 7 pm to midnight. It is not fair to me,” he said.
Nairobi News reached out to Fatxo’s manager who said he did not want to speak about the incident.
DJ Fatxo was the key suspect in the death of interior designer Jeff Mwathi, an incident reportedly linked to the same house.
However, the entertainer was subsequently cleared of the charges.
According to his lawyer, Duncan Okatch, an investigation conducted by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) found no evidence linking DJ Fatxo to Mwathi’s untimely demise.
Speaking through his social media, Fatxo, May 17, 2023, the singer shared his relief after authorities cleared him.
“I want to use this situation to remind all of us of the importance of not jumping to conclusions or cyberbullying anyone based on mere accusations or hearsay stories.
As many of you know, I have gone through a very difficult period both emotionally and physically, and I know firsthand how damaging and hurtful it can be to be on the receiving end of false accusations and cyberbullying,” read part of his message.
