Baringo: Body of school cook found by the roadside

Panic has gripped Eldama Ravine town in Baringo County after the body of a 49-year-old man who worked as a cook in one of the schools was found on Monday.

The lifeless body of the man was found by the roadside around Kerkwony stadium in Eldama Ravine.

Koibatek Sub-county police commander Joseph Ongaya confirmed the incident, saying police officers received information in the morning and rushed to the scene.

Speaking in his office, Ongaya said investigations have been launched into the matter.

He said no stone will be left unturned to unearth the person/s behind the act as some leads are being tracked.

The body of the deceased was moved to Eldama Ravine morgue.
