The body of an unidentified man has been found floating at the shores of the Indian Ocean near English Point Mkomani, in Nyali, Mombasa County.

The body was retrieved by officers from the county government’s rescue and fire department and handed over to the police.

Ibrahim Basafar, the chief officer of the department, confirmed that the body had been identified by people who were at the scene earlier today.

As of now, the man’s identity remains unknown, and a call has been made for anyone who may have lost a relative or a friend to report to police.

The body has been taken to Coast General Hospital mortuary.
