University students led Saba Saba protests in Kisii on Friday when they lit bonfires, blocking all main roads.

The group of students who were joined by locals, including boda boda riders played cat and mouse chase with the police as they kept setting tires on fire to block roads.

The situation was the same in Mombasa where demonstrators were dispersed with teargas on Moi Avenue.
