A man suspected of orchestrating an arson attack in Busia County has been arrested.

According to Area Police Boss Daniel Echote, the incident occurred in the Sio Port area. The 52-year-old suspect is accused of setting fire to a house owned by Meshack Ageng’a, with whom he was reportedly in a dispute.

The fire completely destroyed the house, resulting in the loss of property of unknown value. The suspect will be arraigned in Port Victoria once investigations are complete.
