A case against businessman Parminder Singh Manku, who was accused of stealing more than Ksh.71 million from his partners, was dropped by a Nairobi court.
In accordance with Criminal Procedure Code section 87(a), the court withdrew the case. It also mandated the release of the monetary bail he had deposited.
The prosecution informed the court that the charges against Manku were of a civil nature and that they did not want to pursue the case when the matter was brought up for discussion on Monday.
