CAS Positions; Sossion, Ngirici, Itumbi, shortlisted

The public service commission (PSC) has shortlisted 224 candidates for the position of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS).

The list was culled from a pool of over 600 applicants, with those chosen expected to appear for interviews beginning March 1, 2023.

Those who make the cut must bring original certificates, as well as clearance certificates from the taxman KRA, HELB, a registered Credit Reference Bureau, a police clearance certificate, and a self-declaration form signed by the EACC, to the interview.

Members of the public have also been invited to submit any credible information about the shortlisted candidates.

Some notable names that made the shortlist include:

  1. Former Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany
  2. Former Jubilee MP Gideon Keter
  3. Former Digital Strategist at then-Deputy President William Ruto’s office, Dennis Itumbi
  4. Former Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura
  5. Former Nominated Senator Millicent Omanga
  6. Former journalist Mwanaisha Chidzuga
  7. Former KNUT Secretary-General Wilson Sossion
  8. Former Kirinyaga Woman Representative Wangui Ngirici
  9. Former Samburu Governor Moses Lenolkulal
  10. Former journalist Bonnie Musambi
  11. Footballer McDonald Mariga Wanyama
  12. Former Nominated senator Mary Yiane
  13. Former Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri
  14. Former Lamu Senator Anuar Loitiptip
  15. Former Starehe MP Charles Njagua, alias Jaguar
