Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca has lamented Wilfred Ndidi’s absence ahead of his side’s trip to Leeds United on Friday (today).

The Foxes head to Elland Road for a meeting of the Sky Bet Championship’s top two.

The Foxes currently have a nine-point lead at the top of the table.

Ndidi is the only player out injured from the first team group.

“The only one at the moment is Wilf. He is still injured. One of our best players, or best position, is Wilf. When he’s not there, we used Cesare,” Maresca told the club’s official website.

“Now they’re not there so we try to adapt. Unfortunately Wilf is still injured. “
