Former Chelsea defender, John Terry has encouraged Cole Palmer to aim for and exceed Diego Costa’s goal tally on the club’s all-time Premier League scoring chart.

In a recent TikTok post, Terry celebrated Palmer’s impressive hat-trick during Chelsea’s victory over Wolves, which elevated him to eighth place on the club’s Premier League goalscorers list, with 44 goals from 84 appearances.

“Congratulations, Cole Palmer, for surpassing John Terry in Chelsea’s all-time Premier League goals record list,” Terry said.

“John Terry knocked down to ninth position. Incredible.

“Eight position, now behind Diego Costa [who scored 52 goals for Chelsea]. Costa is the next one you need to chase down.”

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard is Chelsea’s all-time Premier League top scorer with 147 goals, followed by Didier Drogba (104 goals), and Eden Hazard (84 goals), completing the top three on the list.
