The national under-20 rugby 15s side, Chipu, stormed into the semi-finals of the Barthes Cup with a 44-20 win over Uganda in a feisty tie at Nyayo Stadium on Saturday.
On a chilly evening characterised by occasional drizzles, Kenya were ruthless from the onset, rushing to a 29-13 lead at halftime before completing the job in the second half.
In other matches of the day, Zimbabwe whitewashed Cote d’Ivoire 55-0 as Nambia beat Zambia 20-12 in the next match.
Tunisia were 50-16 winners over Madagascar.
