Three more players have been included into the initial Kenya Under-20 rugby team that is in camp ahead of the Barthes Cup scheduled for April 22-30.

Team Manager Peter Mutai said the three namely Mark Lubira of USIU Martials, William Otondi of Binghamton University in the USA and Josh Weru, have been included to reinforce the squad.

Otondi is expected to jet into the country on April 16 while Lubira and Weru, who played for Simbas last year, have already joined the rest of the team.

Mutai further revealed that Chipu have a couple of friendlies lined up to get them match-ready. They begin that series of friendlies this weekend when they face Kenyatta University Cougars.

“The team is in good spirits and we have lined up friendlies for them for us to gauge their level of preparedness. This weekend we will be out against KU Cougars which will be a good test,” Mutai said.
