Choice Gatwiri Kinoti, the Kenyan woman who recently went viral after appearing in a video with a Russian man, has shared why she believes many white men prioritise personality over physical appearance when choosing partners.
Speaking in a video posted by SPM Buzz on TikTok on Thursday, March 5, 2026, Choice claimed that many white men do not place much emphasis on looks or body figure when choosing a partner, but instead focus on a woman’s personality.
According to her, this is the reason people often see white men married to women who may not necessarily fit conventional beauty standards.
“They date for love, and that’s why you often see white men marry the ugliest women on earth,” she said.
“If you have ever noticed, white men don’t go for looks or figure. They want the personality. That’s what they go for, and me too, I always go for that as well.”

Choice added that her personal preferences have influenced her dating choices, noting that she has never dated a Kenyan man and is uncertain whether she ever will.
She explained that, for her, the issue is largely cultural, saying she feels more drawn to men she considers more exposed, respectful, and romantic.
“That’s why I have never and I am not sure if I will ever, date a Kenyan man, but I think it’s because I have not found my type yet,” she said.
Choice further stated that she generally avoids dating black men unless they come from what she described as well-exposed and cultured backgrounds.
“I don’t want Black men culturally. Unless he is the son of a president… unless they are from a family where they are well exposed and have been brought up well and very cultured,” she added.
She went on to describe the type of man she would consider dating, saying she prefers someone who respects women, is romantic, and is willing to contribute equally in a relationship.
“A man who can cook for a woman, who can respect a woman, who can be romantic and be giving, that’s the only thing I can date. Otherwise, it’s a no,” she stated.
Choice concluded by reiterating that she prefers white men because she believes they tend to embody those qualities more consistently.
“It’s because white men are very cultured. That’s why I always prefer them,” she said.
Kanyari’s gift
In a similar development, Choice recently came out to express deep regret over accepting a Ksh30,000 gift from Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari.
“Yes, I was given Ksh30,000 in cash by Pastor Kanyari, and I regret accepting it. I deeply regret it because I am currently going through one of the hardest dilemmas of my life,” she narrated.
She explained that she had been visibly tense and shaken at the time she attended the service at Kanyari’s church, circumstances she says the preacher picked up on before delivering a sermon centred on humility and accepting help.
According to Choice, the message emphasised that no one should be too proud to receive assistance, with references to biblical teachings and even examples of prominent figures seeking support from others.
It is this line of preaching, she says, that ultimately convinced her to accept the money, despite her initial resistance.
“When Kanyari saw that I was shaking and tense after going to his church, he began preaching that you should not be too proud to accept help. He said that even great people have had to pass through a man of God, and that when God wants to lift you, He uses people, just as He did even in the time of Jesus. That is also why I later posted on Instagram about Jesus, the fish, and the coins,” she added.

The young woman insisted that she never wanted the cash from the beginning, maintaining that she did not wish to sell herself out for Ksh30,000.
She noted that the money was not enough to change her life.
“He used the word to convince me, because from the beginning, I did not want Pastor Kanyari’s money. I did not want that money because I did not want to sell myself out for Ksh30,000, and also because that amount cannot really help me in any significant way,’ she said.
