Citizen TV anchor Lulu Hassan fondly remembered late journalist Rita Tinina in a recent interview with Nairobi News.
Reflecting on their last encounter during the 2022 presidential elections, Lulu praised Rita’s peaceful demeanour and professionalism in the media industry.
“Losing Rita is a significant loss for the journalism community. She was highly respected and admired by many journalists. Rita was known for her dedication to her work, her lack of drama, and her straightforward nature,” Lulu said.
She remembered how Rita always wore a smile and treated everyone with kindness.
Lulu’s husband, Rashid Abdalla, echoed similar sentiments, describing Rita as a humble and hardworking journalist.
