Copa America: Messi reacts as Argentina beat Canada

Argentina captain, Lionel Messi has reacted to his side’s Copa America 2-0 win against Canada on Thursday.

Messi featured as La Albiceleste defeated Canada in their first game of the tournament.

The Inter Miami forward was instrumental during the encounter as two goals from Julian Alvarez and Lautaro Martinez gave the World Cup holders all three points.

Reacting after the game, Messi, in a post via his Instagram story expressed his delight over the victory.

The former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star posted: “First step,”Alongside a picture of himself with his teammates.

Messi will now hope to lead Argentina to victory when they face Chile in their next game on Tuesday.
