Motorists traveling the Kabarnet-Eldama Ravine route have been urged to exercise caution due to heavy rainfall in Kabarnet. The rains have caused a landslide in the area, resulting in a large crack on the road at Kimungur corner.

a significant landslide was seen, which locals report occurred early Monday morning. Several cracks are visible on the road, raising concerns that it could become impassable.

Travelers from Eldama Ravine using Saos road are advised to be careful and, if possible, divert to the Marigat highway.
