CS Kagwe has also emphasized the urgent need to reform the curriculum in Kenya’s 10 agricultural training institutions to reflect emerging technologies and equip extension officers with modern skills.
Kagwe,spoke when he hosted a high-level delegation from the Rockefeller Foundation led by Executive Vice President Liz Yee, to explore strategic collaborations aimed at strengthening food security, driving economic growth, and improving rural livelihoods.
The discussions focused on enhancing market access for farmers, promoting climate-smart agricultural practices, and improving the availability of nutritious meals across the country.
