Dem Wa Facebook explains why her twins’ birth remained a secret for a month

Digital content creator and comedian Dem Wa Facebook has revealed why she kept the birth of her twin daughters a secret for nearly a month.

The comedian, whose real name is Millicent Ayuwa, in a heartfelt message after she made the announcement about the twins’ birth, said she was surrounded by friends who respected her privacy and kept the life-changing news away from the public eye.

As she prepared to celebrate her daughters turning one month old, she shared that the secret was having friends who could keep your secrets.

“Yes my babies are turning one month Kesho. Siri ni kua na friends wanaeza weka siri zako,” she wrote.

Birth announcement

In a touching announcement shared on the eve of her daughters’ one-month milestone, Dem explained that she needed time to embrace the special blessing before introducing her babies to the world.

“Some blessings are so big, and some joy is so sacred, that it needs time to settle into your heart before it can be shared with the world,” Dem Wa Facebook announced.

The content creator further disclosed that on May 20, 2026, at exactly 7:25 am, she welcomed her beautiful twin daughters, a moment she described as the greatest gift of her life.

For the past month, she said she has been cherishing every moment of motherhood and adjusting to the new chapter that came with raising her two little girls.

“On 20th May 2026, at exactly 7:25 AM, God blessed me with the most precious gift of all: my beautiful twin daughters. For the past one month, I have been soaking in every moment and every feeling that comes with this incredible new chapter,” she added.

The entertainer also expressed gratitude to God for His grace while appreciating her family, friends, management team and online community for their unwavering love, support and encouragement.

“Today, with a heart full of gratitude, I thank God for His endless grace. To my family and friends, thank you for your unwavering love and support. To my management, your brilliance and strategic vision for this brand were evident throughout this journey, and I am deeply grateful,” she stated.
