Inter Miami forward Lionel Messi has hailed Barcelona’s 4-0 win over Real Madrid in Saturday’s El Clasico.

Robert Lewandowski scored twice at the Santiago Bernabeu to put the Catalans in the lead.

Lamine Yamal and Raphinha also got on the scoresheet to condemn Los Blancos to their first LaLiga loss in 43 matches.

Messi left Barcelona in the summer of 2021 but remains affectionate towards the team.

In Barca’s Instagram post celebrating the big win against their bitter rivals, Messi commented, “What a beautiful victory!”

Hansi Flick’s men are six points ahead of Los Blancos following the victory.
