In a surprising turn of events, social media sensation Elsa Majimbo has deleted her tweets regarding her encounter with supermodel Naomi Campbell and the subsequent viral TikTok video where she claimed to have been blackballed by the supermodel.

Elsa’s decision to remove the tweets came with a statement posted on February 19, where she expressed her reasons behind the move.

“I stand by my words. Content in my decision. The tweets are deleted due to seeking peace, not fear. Y’all need to understand this is something that has happened since I was 19. My goal now is happiness,” Elsa tweeted, shedding light on her motivation for removing the controversial tweets.

The tweets in question sparked a wave of reactions across social media platforms, with netizens weighing in on Elsa’s confrontation with Naomi.

Some expressed support for Elsa’s bravery in speaking out against the alleged mistreatment, while others cautioned against the potential repercussions of her actions.

@Nonsothegirl tweeted, “Saying that Elsa should not have made that video about Naomi Campbell is exactly how bullies thrive. A victim tries to speak up and it’s ‘you should have kept quiet, now she’ll bully you more.’ While that may be true, it is more reason to support the victim. The more victims keep quiet, the more bullies thrive.”

@Kim_Khandashisa echoed similar sentiments, stating, “I don’t like how Elsa’s story about Naomi is being received. People telling her to keep it down cos Hollyweird doesn’t like people who talk too much is exactly why so many have been mistreated and silenced. Let the consequences consequence, telling her to stay silent is not it.”

Meanwhile, @theeGirl_Bianca praised Elsa for her courage, commenting, “She was extremely brave for this. I love how she reclaimed back her power by publicly calling out her bully. Naomi Campbell is a bully. So many people in the industry have said this. Big ups to Elsa. She inspires me.”

However, not all reactions were supportive of Elsa’s actions. @akreana_ posted on X, “She folded. Public apology loading.😭.”

@ItsLithaAfter9 pointed out the potential consequences of speaking out against someone as influential as Naomi Campbell, stating, “Why would you want to pick a fight with Naomi? We are telling people to speak up about abuse and being mistreated but admonishing them when they do. Elsa stand in your truth, because as ZNH said ‘If you are silent about your pain, they’ll kill you and say you enjoyed it’.”

@Navistarkadiri took a different stance, suggesting that Elsa’s decision to confront Naomi Campbell could have negative repercussions. “Well, if Naomi Campbell didn’t blackball her before.. it’s gon happen now. I don’t know about y’all, but I would have kept my mouth shut if I was Elsa and continued rubbing oil on my beautiful body,” they tweeted.
