In a report by DCI, the suspects who hail from the Kirigi sub-location have been accused of arson where on Christmas eve – December 24, 2022, they stormed one of the villager’s homes and assaulted him before setting his house on fire.

The chief identified as Lincoln Muthee Kithaka is the administrator in charge of the Kanduri South Location.

The suspects were nabbed following recommendations by the Director of Public Prosecutions, after an inquiry into the allegations.

“Lincoln Muthee Kithaka the Chief in-charge of Kanduri South Location together with eight elders were arrested yesterday on charges of arson and assault, following recommendations by the Director of Public Prosecutions, after an inquiry implicated them in the attack of one Anthony Njue on December 24, last year,” part of the statement by the DCI reads.
