Liverpool Legend, Jamie Carragher has said Arsenal will not win the Premier League this season because they do not have the goalkeeper and striker to take the team over the line.

Carragher was speaking on Sky Sports after Mikel Arteta’s side suffered their first defeat in the league this season.

On Saturday, Newcastle United sealed a controversial 1-0 victory over the Gunners at St James’ Park.

“Have Arsenal got a centre-forward and a goalkeeper who can win you the league? I don’t think they have.

“When you think of vital positions where teams win leagues, it’s in both boxes.”

Arsenal hosts Sevilla next in the Champions League in midweek, before taking Burnley in the league on Saturday.
