Former Spain midfielder, David Silva, has said only Arsenal is capable of challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title this season.

The Gunners led the table for most of last season, before a poor end to the campaign saw them finish five points behind City.

Manchester United finished third while Newcastle United took the last Champions League place spot.

City is currently top with four wins from four fixtures, Arsenal have 10 points and United six points.

“Arsenal are the only team I can see who maybe have a chance of challenging City. The rest? I don’t think they can.

“I watched nearly all of City’s games in the Champions League last season, I couldn’t win it when I was there, but I’m so happy for the club that they were finally able to do it,” Silva told the UK Mirror.
