Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola has compared Bernardo Silva to Lionel Messi after their 6-1 win over Bournemouth.

Bernardo Silva scored twice as the Premier League champions went back to the top of the table.

Speaking after the match, Guardiola said Silva’s second goal was similar to what Messi had scored several times in the past.

“He is an extraordinary player, he made two great goals.

“The action from the second goal looks like Messi, Messi has done that many times. Everyone is so happy to have him here,” Guardiola told BBC MOTD.
