Former Arsenal attacker, Kevin Campbell believes the club’s reported target, Jurrien Timber is good enough to play for any top team in Europe.

Arsenal are edging closer to finalizing a deal for Timber after agreeing on personal terms with the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s side will reportedly need to pay £40 million to acquire the Ajax defender’s services.

But Campbell, the 22-year-old, would be a superb signing for the Premier League giants.

Speaking about Timber, Cambell said on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel (via HITC): “He could play for any team, any team, at the top, any top team.”

Timber had an excellent season for Ajax as he scored two goals and registered two assists in 47 appearances across competitions for the Dutch giants.
