Head coach of Portugal national team, Roberto Martinez has hailed Chelsea winger Pedro Neto amid his display for both club and country this season.

Martinez said Neto is capable of competing at the sport’s highest level.

This comes after Neto got himself on the scoresheet in Portugal’s 5-1 victory over Poland in the Nations League on Friday.

Also, in his last game for Chelsea before the international break, Neto scored against Arsenal in the Premier League to ensure a 1-1 draw for the Blues.

“Pedro Neto is at Chelsea because he is more than ready for the highest level,” Martinez said (via Tribal Football).

“He is a tremendously unbalanced player.”

Martinez has excused Neto to return to Chelsea and the 24-year-old will not take part in Portugal’s Nations League tie with Croatia on Monday.
