Arsenal legend, Martin Keown has showered praises on Kai Havertz, describing him as an intelligent player.

Keown said this after Havertz’d impressive display for Arsenal in their Premier League 2-0 win over Luton Town on Wednesday.

Havertz, who joined Arsenal from Chelsea in a £65million deal last summer, gave an assist during the Luton Town clash at Emirates.

“I wasn’t sure at the beginning, he played as a centre forward in the Community Shield and I didn’t see the work-rate or the running in the channels. He moved back into midfield but now he’s in his best position as a front player,” Keown told TNT Sports.

“He’s so intelligent and keeps disappearing from the defenders. He can be really effective and it is really working for Arsenal at the moment.”
