Several Premier League clubs are set to grill the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) chief, Howard Webb, over poor refereeing this new season.

Referees in England’s topflight have come under fierce criticism after only five rounds of matches.

This follows several controversial decisions that have left clubs like Arsenal and Manchester City angry.

According to The Times, the clubs are now planning to call Webb and vent their frustrations.

The report also claimed that both Arsenal and City are angry with Michael Oliver’s officiating of their clash at the Etihad on Sunday.

While the Gunners are unhappy with Oliver’s decision to show a second yellow card to Leandro Trossard in the first half for kicking the ball, the champions were left fuming by the official in the buildup to Riccardo Calafiori’s equaliser.
