New Arsenal signing, Jurrien Timber, has named his two favourite Gunners stars.

Timber joined Arsenal on a long-term contract from Ajax on Friday.

However, the defender has now revealed that Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie were his two favourite Arsenal players, adding that he likes watching them play.

Recall that both Henry and Van Persie were phenomenal during their playing days at Arsenal.

The duo have since retired from professional football.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Timber said, “I liked watching Robin van Persie of course and Thierry Henry.

“They were my favourite players.”
