Manchester United will pay Ruben Amorim and his coaching staff about £15.9 million as compensation.

Amorim and his five assistants were fired on January 5, after just 14 months at the Premier League club.

After he was dismissed, Amorim got a £10 million payment from the club, after meeting with the director of football, Jason Wilcox, and the chief executive, Omar Berrada.

However, a recent filing with the New York Stock Exchange, has revealed that firing Amorim and his coaching staff might cost up the Red Devils to £15.9 million.

The final figure Amorim will get depends on if the 41-year-old gets another job within a certain time.

The total cost of United hiring and firing Amorim could now be up to £27 million.
