Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has said the Premier League club will not sack manager Erik ten Hag in the middle of the season.
Neville was speaking on Sky Sports, after United scraped past Coventry City in their FA Cup semi-final on Sunday.
According to him, a decision will be made on the future of Ten Hag and the players in the summer.
“They’ll make the decision on the manager and the players at the end of the season – they were never going to sack Ten Hag in the middle of the season,” Neville said.
“But they’ve made huge structural changes and that’s the most potent thing, a sign that they weren’t happy with what they were seeing at the top of the club.
“I don’t think that will stop. There’s going to be some upheaval and turbulence for some time to come.”
