Legendary Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has urged the Premier League club to stick with current manager, Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag is under pressure as United have endured their worst start to a season in 61 years.

But the UK Sun reports that the Dutchman has the backing of Ferguson.

Ferguson has “unwavering support” for Ten Hag and feels it would be wrong to sack him at this point.

The Scot is said to believe the ex-Ajax boss has the “character and mentality required to turn the club around” and will tell the Red Devils’ investors to stick by him.
