Sporting CP head coach, Ruben Amorim has dismissed speculations linking him with Manchester United.
According to Amorim, he has not been approached by the Premier League side.
United boss, Erik ten Hag is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford, following a miserable start to the campaign.
This week, there were reports that the Red Devils are considering Amorim and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane as replacements.
Amorim claims he has an idea what he will do at the end of the current season, but insists he will “respect” his contract with Sporting, which expires in 2026.
When asked about United’s interest after Sporting’s 4-2 victory over Farense in the Portuguese League Cup on Thursday evening, he replied: “This year I’m not going to go back to the same conversation as last year.
“I’m not going to make any kind of comment on these situations.”
