Opta has now made Manchester City the title favourites with a 40 per cent chance despite being third.

This follows Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

The Reds are next on 31 per cent with Arsenal, the leaders, given a 29 per cent chance.

Liverpool had been top of the predictor on Sunday morning.

However, they needed a late Mohamed Salah penalty to earn a point at Old Trafford.

United had cancelled out Luis Diaz’s opener with goals from Bruno Fernandes and Kobbie Mainoo.

Up next for Liverpool is Crystal Palace. Arsenal host Aston Villa and City play Luton Town at the Etihad.
