Liverpool midfielder, Dominik Szoboszlai has named Jurgen Klopp’s side as the team that would finish above Manchester City in the Premier League table this season.

Man City have dominated English football in the last six years.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won five league titles, including the last three but Liverpool won the league in the 2019-20 season.

However, Liverpool have consistently challenged Man City in recent years except last season where they finished trophyless and in fifth place in the league table.

But Szoboszlai, who joined the Reds this summer, is confident Liverpool will be able to challenge Manchester City again.

When asked which team will finish above Man City this season, the Hungarian midfielder replied (via LFC Transfer Room): “Us… It is not a joke, I am thinking about it.

“I always think that way even if it is hard.”
