Mason Greenwood would be welcomed back by manager Erik ten Hag and “most” of his Manchester United team-mates, according to the UK Sun.

It is believed a decision is imminent on Greenwood’s future with the Premier League side.

The 21-year-old is currently on suspension following charges of rape, assault and controlling and coercive behaviour, handed down in January 2022.

These charges were dropped in February 2023.

But United continued their own investigation into matters and a decision has not yet to be reached.

Given the nature of the accusations against Greenwood, a return to United seemed highly unlikely.

However, it is believed Ten Hag and ‘most’ of his team-mates would welcome the decision.
