In what will be a big boost for Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, the duo of Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez have resumed training after injury.

Casemiro and Martinez were spotted with the first team on Wednesday.

They are expected to be available for selection before the end of the month.

Martinez has not played for the Red Devils since September due to a foot injury which required surgery, while Casemiro has been out since the start of November due to a hamstring issue.

Their return could help United, who are enduring a poor season, with their defeat to Nottingham Forest last time out leaving the Red Devils down in eighth place in the table and a distant 14 points off top spot.
