#EPL: The guy’s very good – Joshua Zirkzee hails Man United star

Newly signed Manchester United striker, Joshua Zirkzee has hailed his new teammate, Kobbie Mainoo.

Both players faced each other at Euro 2024 when the Netherlands played England in the semifinals.

England beat the Netherlands 2-1 at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund and the 19-year-old Mainoo was a top performer in the game.

Zirkzee, 23, was brought on in the second half of that game and was pictured interacting with Mainoo after the final whistle.

The Dutch striker told Manchester United’s media team, “Kobbie had a fantastic game, played incredible. I was talking about it on the bench like this guy is very, very good.”

Mainoo started the final game but could not do much as Spain beat England 2-1 within normal time to lift the trophy in Berlin.
