Manchester United have been told to shelve any hope of chasing down the Premier League title this season.
This was after the Red Devils could only manage a 2-2 draw with Leeds United at Old Trafford on Wednesday.
Eric ten Hag’s side were 2-0 down after 55 minutes but had to fight back to rescue a point through Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho’s efforts.
And Sunderland legend, Micky Gray was unimpressed and felt the Old Trafford landlords, who were outplayed by Leeds, are not yet ready for the serious business.
“That is as bad as I’ve seen them play all season, it really is,” he told talkSPORT.
“Forget about Manchester United chasing down a Premier League title because away from their strongest XI, they’ve got vulnerabilities, they’ve got players still at this football club who shouldn’t really be here. You’ve seen it tonight.
“It was just not a performance tonight, they looked really shaky in the first hour of the game. Manchester City and Arsenal will march forward the rest of the season.”
