English singer, Noel Gallagher has predicted that Arsenal will win the Premier League on goal difference.

The Gunners are currently top of the table with seven fixtures left.

Mikel Arteta’s men are only ahead of Liverpool because of a superior goal difference and one point ahead of champions Manchester City.

Gallagher, speaking on talkSPORT, said he expects the table to remain the same at the end of the season.

He said: “Obviously I want Man City to win it. If I was a betting man, I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that the table is going to end the way it is now and I think Arsenal will win it on goal difference.

“That’s the way I see it because we’re waiting now for the two of them to drop points and I look at Arsenal and every week you’re thinking, ‘Well this is the time when they implode.’ I’m looking at it and thinking, ‘They’re just rock solid.’”
