ESPN’s Mark Ogden has revealed that Liverpool’s away Premier League tie with Everton on April 24 at Goodison Park could cost the Reds the title this season.
According to Ogden, Jurgen Klopp’s side are worried about the Everton fixture because it could turn out like the 2-2 draw with Manchester United last weekend.
Liverpool are currently in second position on the Premier League table on goal difference behind leaders Arsenal with just seven matches remaining this season.
Speaking on the BBC Radio Five Live Football Daily Podcast, Ogden said: “Liverpool are still in it [title race], but I know that there is a real sense of trepidation within the Liverpool group, the club and the fans for Everton away in a few weeks.
“It’s a bit like the United game, they are worried that it is the game that could cost them the title.”
