Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has reflected on their 1-0 loss at Aston Villa in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

Leon Bailey’s deflected strike in the second half proved to be the winner.

The result means City have failed to win their last four league matches.

Speaking after the game at Villa Park, Guardiola said: “Aston Villa were better than us.

“We struggled to make some process and after, especially when they defended with a medium block, we didn’t find the moments behind.

“It was really difficult because they are really physical and able to control many aspects.”

Guardiola’s men are now in fourth place, six points behind leaders Arsenal, with Villa leapfrogging them into third spot.
