Jack Wilshere is set for a return to Arsenal this summer.

According to Sporting News, both parties are in advanced talks for Wilshere to return as U21s head coach.

However, he does not have a clear run at the job, as there are others under consideration.

Despite leaving the club in 2024, Wilshere has maintained a close relationship with figures at the Emirates.

The 33‑year‑old departed Arsenal at that time to join Norwich City’s first‑team coaching staff, where he worked under Johannes Hoff Thorup.

But he left the role earlier this summer and is currently out of work.

In his first stint, Wilshere led Arsenal’s U18 side to the FA Youth Cup final in 2023.
