Arsenal legend Ian Wright has expressed worries over striker Harry Kane’s ability to trouble defender Virgil van Dijk ahead of England’s Euro 2024 semi-final against the Netherlands on Wednesday.

Wright also predicted England would beat the Netherlands 2-1 in the semi-final tie.

“We are going to need somebody to put Virgil van Dijk under pressure,” Wright said on the Wrighty’s House podcast.

“We need someone to make him a little uneasy. This is why it worries me with Harry Kane and his form at the moment.”

He added: “You have got to go into that game feeling confident. I am quite confident now that we are capable of beating the Netherlands. I think we will, I think we’ll beat them 2-1.”
