American boxer, Ryan Garcia has sent a comforting message to veteran Portugal striker, Cristiano Ronaldo.

The message came following the player’s penalty miss against Slovenia at Euro 2024.

Ronaldo, 39, squandered a golden opportunity to set his side in front in the 105 minute of the round of sixteen clash in Frankfurt.

Despite that, Portugal managed to go through to the quarterfinals, winning the penalty shootouts.

Ronaldo wept after the miss and Garcia took to X to send a message of support.

The American wrote, “Real men cry. Love you Ronaldo. Keep shooting and keep believing.”

Ronaldo, however, made amends for his miss by converting his spot-kick in the penalty shootout.
