At least three teams have qualified for this season’s FA Cup fourth round.

This follows the completion of the first set of third-round fixtures on Thursday night.

Everton, who sacked Sean Dyche as their manager earlier in the day, saw off Peterborough United 2-0.

Beto opened the scoring for the Toffees at Goodison Park three minutes before the break.

Iliman Ndiaye then made sure of their progress with a very late penalty in the 98th minute of the game.

Sheffield United were dumped out of the competition after losing 1-0 at home to Cardiff City.

Cian Ashford grabbed the only goal of the match in the 19th minute.

Fulham survived a Watford scare to win 4-1 at Craven Cottage.

Rodrigo Muniz gave the hosts a 26th minute, but Rocco Vatta levelled seven minutes later.

Raul Jimenez’s penalty in the 49th minute gave Fulham the lead, before more goals from Joachim Andersen and Timothy Castagne sealed victory.

There will be more third-round clashes all through this weekend, with the standout fixture being Arsenal vs Manchester United at the Emirates.
